I have worked within the medical field for over 25 years in both Western and Eastern medicine. I believe in the power of the mind and body to heal. The goal of my practice is to balance their interdependence and influence upon each other to help you attain and maintain optimum health.

Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry

• Four-year medical school degree in Classical Chinese Medicine in 2007

• 800 hr internship 

• National Board Certified (NCCAOM)

• Licensed in Oriental Medicine, Herbal Medicine and Massage therapy

• Advanced training at the Lincoln Recovery Center in Bronx, New York for the use of acupuncture in substance abuse with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) protocol. This protocol is also used for PTSD, anxiety issues and smoking cessation

• Research Specialist for the Medical University of South Carolina

• Instructor and a Board Member at Daoist Traditions, a classical Chinese Medical school in Asheville, NC

I continue my advanced training in acupuncture and herbal medicine through classes and internships in the USA and Canada with Oriental Medicine Masters from around the world.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outside immersed in nature, listening to music and cooking.
